Hardmoor
The University's playing fields, Hardmoor Sports Grounds are conveniently situated just off junction 5 of the M27 on the outskirts of Southampton, about 4 miles from the main campus.
Our groundsman was the Hampshire FA groundsman of the year in 2008 and keeps the pitches in excellent condition enabling both students, staff and local community to benefit from the provision.
The facilities available include:
1 x Junior football pitch
1 x Cricket pitch
6 x Tennis courts
2 x Netball courts
1 x Fully licensed clubhouse and changing facilities. 
Priority is given to student sport which predominantly takes place on a Wednesday. Community use is available at other times, subject to hire charges and certain terms and conditions.
The bar is also available for use by students/community subject to prior agreement and availability.

The number 2 Blue Star bus| is available from outside the Slug and Lettuce pub, Above Bar Street, Southampton to go to the bottom of Hardmoor Lane at Stoneham Lane.
