Commitment from athletes
Through a contract, the athletes will be expected to:

Maintain or improve their performance at a high level in their sport.

Fulfill the requirements of their academic programme, including attendance.

Compete for their Sport Solent club in their respective sport/discipline in BUCS.

Represent and promote the sporting profile of the University, particularly to existing and potential sponsors of the scheme, in any way seen fit by the University.

Agree to behave in a fashion fitting with a representative of the University, abiding by the regulations and rules stipulated in their respective club membership form.

Abide by University financial procedures regarding expenditure of bursary.

Abide by the relevant rules and regulations of their appropriate National Governing body.
Please note: Failure in any of these areas without good cause may result in termination of their award.
