American Football
Until the start of the 2009/10 campaign, students at Solent combined with students of the University of Southampton to comprise the formidable Southampton Stags: the national champions with several of the team playing for the national side, British Bulldogs.
Under new regulations the team has had to split with 'Team Solent Redhawks' now leading the way in the British University's American Football League.
We are always looking for players, cheerleaders and those who
can help the team in any way possible. We encourage all levels
to join with many of the team starting as beginners.
Membership cost: £195 for the academic year 2011/12.
Training: Test Park |- Tuesday/Thursday 8-10pm
Competition: Sundays, BUAFL National League played at Test Park.
