Windsurfing
The newly established Windsurfing Team at Southampton Solent University is a fantastic opportunity for all levels to participate and meet like-minded people. We are affiliated to the Student Windsurfing Association| who organise events across the country catering for all abilities. Within the SWA core event calendar there are clinics offering tuition for beginners through to advanced riders, as well as freestyle and wave competitions and the hotly contested racing and team racing series.
With membership of the windsurf club there is the opportunity to develop skills, meet new people and party like a rock star at the legendary SWA events! We also hold our own weekly socials with huge discounts in our sponsorship bars.
Membership cost: £25 for academic year 2011/12
Training: Instruction is offered at SWA core events including the world’s biggest clinic at Aussie Kiss 2011
Competition: SWA Series and BUCS National Championships at Calshot Activity Centre
