Financial Assistance
Before you get as far as university you will want to know about the funding that is designed to assist while you study in sixth form or further education.

The Education Maintenance Allowance (EMA) is no longer available to 16 to 19 year olds studying in England. However, schools, colleges and training providers have bursary funds to help you. To find out more about this support, including how to apply, visit the Direct Gov| website.
Help with learning costs- Direct Gov| provides information on how students in further education colleges can recieve help with the costs of books, equipment, transport and accommodation. In some cases, it can also be used to help pay childcare costs.
