Student Complaints Procedure
You may wish to follow the Student Complaints Procedure if you have concerns or are dissatisfied with the courses, facilities or services provided by Southampton Solent University or with the actions of Southampton Solent University and its staff. Please note that this procedure does not cover problems with marks, results and examinations, for which a separate procedure ‘Appeal Against the Decision of an Examining Board’ exists. A copy of this procedure is available from your Faculty Office.
Student Disciplinary Procedure
This relates to making a complaint about the conduct of a student.
Declaration of Criminal Convictions Policy
An explanation of University policy for the declaration of criminal convictions. This includes what to do if you have a criminal conviction that has not already been declared to Southampton Solent University or if you have incurred a conviction whilst studying at the University.
Police Liaison
Southampton Solent University has links with the Police. The Police Liaison Officers can advise you on any police related matter affecting you or your friends and hold a weekly confidential surgery in the Students’ Union.
