It supports participants to create fun, safe and positive football environments, ensuring that people know how to report a concern about a child's welfare. The workshop is interactive and informal. Tutors draw on participants’ experiences and knowledge and develop teaching materials through presentations and small group activities.
There is no formal assessment. The progress of learners is monitored through the group activities and discussions.
This course is for anyone who wishes to coach junior and youth teams. The FA Safeguarding Children programme helps coaches put the correct measures in place to create a safe environment to ensure the safety and welfare of children and young adults.
