Students benefit from new CMI partnership

A partnership between Solent and the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) is set to benefit students studying BA (Hons) Business Management and BA (Hons) Business Enterprise with Entrepreneurship degrees.

Students who successfully complete their degree within the guidelines will now receive a CMI Diploma alongside their qualification from the University.

Gillian Saieva, Programme Group Leader of Business at Solent, says: “As a forward thinking institution, we are always looking at new ways to enhance the student experience and, like any business, we remain competitive in the marketplace.

“Likewise, the CMI credits universities as the development ground for the leaders and managers of the future.”

Solent has a new partnership with CMI

Solent already offers CMI accreditation on certain Masters degrees (such as MSc International Business Management and MSc Management) and runs a CMI level 5 diploma in management and leadership.

Students studying accredited courses are automatically given CMI student membership. Gillian adds: “Students embarking on the aforementioned degree programmes will receive significant increase in value for money and, with a CMI qualification on their CV alongside their degree, will now have something unique to enable them to stand out from the crowd in the competitive graduate recruitment marketplace.”
