Til' Death Teaser Trailer

They say that the key to a long-lasting and happy relationship is having a lot in common with your partner – but does the same ring true when your shared interest is murder?

This is the question by Solent TV’s latest production, ‘Til Death, a controversial and comedic tale of two neighbours united by both their sleepy rural surroundings and their growing blood lust.

The series, written and directed by real-life partners Rob Jones and Hayley Smith, has proved popular with early viewers. The first episode will be previewed exclusively at Southampton Solent University tomorrow (October 30th).

Producer, Hayley, said: “It’s such an exciting opportunity for people to finally see all the hard work we’ve put into this project. We’re very proud of the series and we definitely think it showcases the talents of all the cast and crew at their very best.”

What makes this four-part drama particularly special is that it has been created entirely by Solent students, graduates and staff.

Greg McCahon, who is in his second year of television production at Solent and worked on the editing of ‘Til Death, said:

“It’s been a very different experience working on this with Solent TV to the kind of things I’ve worked on in my course so far. It’s been a really valuable experience learning new equipment, a lot of which professional production companies use, so now when I graduate, I’m going to be much more prepared for the industry.”

The production stars Isla Carter and Jonny McPherson as the star-crossed outlaws, and will be screened at the University on 30th October before being released to the general public the next day.

To watch ‘Til Death, tune into the Solent TV website anytime after 7pm on October 31.
