The Business and Society Research Hub provides an environment where studies relating to private, public and third sector industries and social issues can thrive. The hub brings together those interested in fields such as social policy, business management, criminology, law and languages.

Currently, the growth areas for this hub are the ‘visitor economy’, SME partnerships, international economic development and entrepreneurship, as well as research into criminality, drug use, cyber-crime, and other contemporary areas of academic interest.

The broad focus of this hub denotes the core aim of enabling cross-pollination of ideas and approaches, thereby creating an atmosphere of openness to multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary research, collaboration, and transparency.
