"I want to inspire students with passion and enthusiasm, based on my own experience. There's nothing like explaining crisis PR by using as an example the day my boss was arrested at dawn by the Serious Fraud Office! As a university, Solent needs to equip students with the means to succeed and prosper in their chosen career. I am also committed to the concept of student-led research."
In her spare time Catherine writes online fiction and a poetry cycle, and is seeking a publisher for her first novel.
