Colin is a licensed coach in America holding a US Soccer A Licence, US Soccer National Goalkeeping Licence, US Youth Soccer National Youth Licence, and United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma. He holds a B.S. degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in Atmospheric Sciences and a master's in Teaching Physical Education from Columbus State University. He is currently completing his PhD in Sport Pedagogy at the University of Alabama.
Over the years, he has worked with a wide variety of players and teams from youth clubs around the country, acting as a technical director, academy director, and staff coach. Most recently, he has been working with university women’s football teams, Columbus State University and the University of Alabama. He also worked with talent identification through the Olympic Development Program in Region III, as well at US Soccer National Training Centres in Atlanta, GA.
While at the University of Alabama, he taught numerous units in the Kinesiology Department, primarily with physical activity classes and PE teacher education training. He also works with US Soccer as a coach educator on staff with the US Soccer C Licence and continues to teach in the US Soccer Grassroots Instructor Licence. He has taught many state licenses at the local level.
