Larry Davids B.F.A. (music composition), M.A. (Arts Education), music therapy, Guitar Institute of Technology, PTTLS. Fellowship in higher learning. 

Larry Davids is an international guitarist, violinist and contemporary session musician now based in London. He has studied guitar at Guitar Institute of Technology, holds a degree in music composition (Simon Fraser University) and a Masters in Arts Education (Simon Fraser University) and has also studied and trained as a music therapist (Capilano University).

He has toured across North America and/or recorded with such bands as the Bare Naked Ladies, Sarah Maclaughlin, Dwight Yokam, Bob Brozman, Bryan Adams, Steve Tyler (Aerosmith) Neko Case, his own band the Beauticians, Nyetz, the Hard Rock Miners, jazz group Nuages and many others. Larry has performed in such musicals as “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Hello Dolly” amongst many other musicals.

Larry is an associate lecturer in popular music at Solent Southampton University where he designed the three-year guitar degree program for the School of Media Arts and Technology, and in addition, teaches the music theory unit. 

He is currently working on finishing his third book ‘So You Want to Play Guitar’ pending February 2016 publication.
