Research interests

Fine art photography looking at relationships between ‘the real’, ‘the constructed’ and the indexical nature of photography using constructed leisure environments as subject matter. In particular, questioning notions of authenticity where the ‘authentic’ is defined by an experiential, or even a cognitive understanding, rather than an understanding based on material reality.

Work in progress

Currently working on a new body of large-scale abstract collages utilising new digital print technology.
