Mike has a range of industry experience including several years with General Motors Europe and Digital Equipment Corporation in a number of sales training, marketing, project and research roles, as well as with the Gartner Group, a specialist IT research house, as a European analyst for IT Services.
He has been a director of two start-up companies Tiger Lilly Limited, an agency providing bespoke analyst relations services to IT clients, and Proverba Limited, a business communications training provider.
Mike was nominated to be a representative for the collaborative partnership programme between Rotary International and the University.
Business journalism is an occasional role on a freelance basis and this has included a series of articles on the relationship between finance and marketing (for accountancyweb.com) and case studies of IT topics such as customer relationship management.
Mike is accredited by the South East Economic Development Association (SEEDA) UK as a mentor for small businesses.
