Scott Anderson is unit leader for two units on the BA (Hons) Interior Design course at Solent University. He has worked as a senior lecturer at Solent University for a number of years, starting in 1994. Before that, Scott worked in an art and antiques company and a publishing company, as well as for the Department of Archaeology at Leicester University, during which time he undertook several large scale excavations, including investigations on several substantial Romano-British town houses other architectural features.
He holds a MA in Archaeology from Leicester University and a PhD in Art and Design from De Montfort University, Leicester. He is a fellow of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers and an associate of the Society of Fine Art Auctioneers and Valuers. He is also a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland.
As an architectural and design historian, Scott’s research interests focus on both ancient architecture and British and European architecture from c.1740 to the present day.
