Biography
Amanda has a wealth of experience after 30 successful years in the industry as a senior buyer for many High Streets brands. Her supply chain sourcing and product develop took her all over the world.
She came to academia 9 years ago, successfully completed her MA and became a member of the HEA.

After completing a HND in Business Management with Marketing and Fashion, Amanda started her career in various roles to gain valuable experience including store management, buying for small independent businesses, before joining the Burton Group in the 1980’s . From Buyers admin she progressed to Senior buyer within 5 years. After 10 years she went on to successfully develop products for a number of High street and catalogue brands.
