Role at Solent

Satvir was co-opted to the board in July 2013, and is currently a member of the governance and student liaison and experience committees.

Experience

Satvir is a cabinet member at Southampton City Council, with responsibility for communities, and Labour representative for Shirley Ward. 

Satvir graduated in history and politics from the University of Southampton, and followed this by studying law at Solent University. She is currently working in publishing, and helping to run a local fabric business.
