Residential weekends

We aim to hold four face-to-face sessions at Solent University each year. Those scheduled for 2018 are shown below: (subject to change)

  • Session 2: Friday 12 January 2018 to Sunday 14 January 2018
  • Session 3: Friday 16 March 2018 to Sunday 18 March 2018
  • Session 4: Friday 18 May 2018 to Sunday 20 May 2018

During residential phases, individuals may be accommodated at Worthy Down or other local military units (subject to availability and prior booking directly with the unit accommodation) and travel daily to the University. Students should be aware that free parking will be available on campus after 4pm on Fridays and all day on Saturdays and Sundays. Out of these hours, students will be required to use local car parks at their own expense.

All materials and activities covered during the contact sessions are available on the virtual learning environment to ensure learning can still take place when personnel are unable to attend the sessions due to work commitments, eg. deployment or exercise.
