Learning and teaching at SSU is supported by the Solent Learning and Teaching Institute (SLTI).  As a team, we bring together students and staff into one learning and teaching community, and our remit includes the library and learning services, learning technologies, research informed teaching and academic development.

Our aim is to deliver innovative, inclusive and intellectually stimulating teaching, to develop self-confident and highly employable graduates who have maximised their educational potential.

Library and learning services

From 24/7 access to Mountbatten Library and a vast array of online learning resources, to the Learning Resource Centres and a team of expert librarians and support professionals, the library and learning services (LLS) provide a comprehensive range of support to students and staff across the University.
