Love Your Bin
The 'Love Your Bin' campaign is a student-led project in consultation with the University's Community Relations Office to inform on recycling, correct bin practice and to tackle anti-social behaviour activity. Aimed at areas within The Polygon in the heart of the city centre which are populated with student residences, the campaign will encourage ownership and respect for bins and recycling. 
MA Public Relations students have been involved in creating a concept which assists Solent's Community Relations Office's agenda and works alongside the University's corporate ethics and commitment to improving community relations in the local area.
The working group met with local residents, the Police and Council at the University's 'Say Hello Christmas Event' to provide consultation and awareness of the campaign. They have since run roadshows on campus, completed student surveys and have launched viral media videos with further information on correct waste disposal, please see below.
