Entry requirements     

Undergraduate courses

As a general guide, we look for qualifications that are equivalent to the British High School A-levels. A portfolio is also required for most of our Art and Design courses.

  • Students with the Leaving Certificate in at least five subjects at Higher level.

Postgraduate courses

As a general guide, we look for qualifications that are equivalent to the British Bachelor Degree.

  • Students with a Bachelor Honours degree

EU Financial support    

EU students are entitled to apply for some financial support in the UK, a tuition fee loan and an EU bursary. For further information, please visit the web page EU financial support|

Visa information    

As an EEA national, you do not need to apply for a visa to come and study in the UK.

Unconditional Offer Letter

When you have met all the conditions of entry for a full-time course at Southampton Solent University, you will be sent an Unconditional Offer Letter.
