Applying for a postgraduate course
Postgraduate students apply directly to the University. You must complete an application form which you can download as a PDF file.
Postgraduate application form
Along with your application form, please make sure you send copies of your official transcripts as well as two references. Overseas students are also required to attach a copy of the information page of their passport.
Once you have completed your form, please send it to the international recruitment office as soon as possible. We will then pass it on to the relevant admissions tutor for a decision.
There is no formal application deadline for postgraduate studies. However, it is recommended you send an application form as early as possible if you want to secure a place, or if you need to apply for a visa.
What happens next?
An offer letter will be sent to you if you have been accepted, detailing the conditions/fees, and so on. If you need to apply for a visa, it is essential the University provides you with a Certificate of Acceptance for Study (CAS).
If your offer is conditional, once you have received your results please send them to the international office. You must contact the international office to let us know you have accepted your offer.
If you satisfy the conditions requested, you will be made an unconditional offer. You must contact the international office to let us know you have accepted your offer, unless you already did so while conditional.
If you have accepted your offer, a pre-arrival pack will be sent to you including information about accommodation, payments, the meet and greet service, induction programme and further information.
If you have any queries concerning the application process, please contact the international recruitment office.
