Join us in exploring the practical steps we can all take to enhance workplace wellbeing.
The issues surrounding health and wellbeing can be complex, with discussion often focusing on the responsive rather than preventative action we can all take. Whilst previously wellbeing may have been seen as a ‘nice to do’ there is now a real business imperative for investing in the health of your workforce.
One of the simple steps we can all take to build healthier, more cohesive workplaces is to share our first-hand knowledge and experience with peers. From established health and wellbeing programmes, to outreach activity delivered by local charities, we’re offering you the chance to exchange knowledge and share best practice, at our next public lecture being delivered in partnership with Business in the Community and Southampton City Council.
- Stephanie Schreiber, Wellbeing Adviser at Business in the Community who will explore the issues surrounding workplace wellbeing.
- Chris Dunn, Health Promotion Manager at Southampton Solent University who will provide an insight to Solent Health, our award winning employee wellbeing programme.
- Francesca Prior, Senior Employment Manager at Southampton City Council who will outline how organisations can access help and support through the Workplace Wellbeing Charter.
As well as offering you the chance to network over light refreshments and a buffet you will also have the opportunity to visit our exhibition stands which will showcase local wellbeing initiatives and help you to review your own health and wellbeing.
