Postgraduate week: 25-29 October 2021

What is Postgraduate Week?

The week has been designed for you to find out all the information you need about postgraduate study.  We’ll have sessions letting you know what postgraduate study is, the level of study required and the skills and attributes required.

We’ll have a panel of postgraduate students past and present who will share their experiences and answer your questions.  We’ll also have our expert staff on hand for our subject lectures running free masterclasses to our professional staff who can let you know everything you need to know about learning and careers support, postgraduate funding and the application process.

All sessions are being held virtually with a different session each day with an introductory presentation followed by a Q&A with our expert panel.  Just book on the session(s) that interests you.

Postgraduate loans

From the 2016/17 academic year onwards you may be able to apply for a postgraduate loan from the UK Government. These loans are similar to those used by undergraduate students and are repaid under the same terms. This means that you won't start repaying your loan until you begin to earn a professional wage.
