Industry links are a vital part of our work here at Solent. As a result, work placements and internships are offered to students on many of our courses. Industry partners also play an important role in creating our curriculums, keeping them fresh, relevant and up-to-date.

Alumni discounts

Solent alumni could be eligible for up to a 50% reduction of tuition fees if returning to study a postgraduate course. The discount applied will be dependent on your undergraduate degree classification. Solent alumni with a First (1.1) will be offered a 50% discount. Solent alumni with a 2.1 or 2.2 will be offered a 20% discount.

Postgraduate loans

From the 2016/17 academic year onwards you may be able to apply for a postgraduate loan from the UK Government. These loans are similar to those used by undergraduate students and are repaid under the same terms. This means that you won't start repaying your loan until you begin to earn a professional wage.
