Things not to miss

  • "I would say that the most essential elements are the residences and the campus tours because they enable students to take a sneak peek at what could be ahead of them."

Bianca-Minodora Caministeanu, graduate, BA (Hons) Journalism

  • "It's a perfect opportunity to really get a feel for the University, by both exploring the campus and facilities available, and talking to the staff and student ambassadors, who are on hand with lots of helpful information and to answer any questions you may have."

Sadie Parker, graduate, BA (Hons) Cruise Industry Management

Make the right choice

Whether you’re interested in undergraduate, postgraduate or foundation level study, visiting the Southampton Solent University campus is the best way to discover if life as a student here is right for you.

Five top reasons to visit us at one of our open days:

  1. Find out more about your course at our subject specific talks – discover what you’ll be studying and learn more about your career prospects.
  2. Get your questions answered by our academics, admissions staff and current students.
  3. Get hands-on with a range of professional equipment and find out how free and easy access to our facilities sets us apart from other universities.
  4. Meet our student ambassadors and find out all about student life, clubs, social events and societies.
  5. Show your family around! Open days are a great way for your parents or carers to have a look around your chosen university.

Getting to the open day

Southampton Solent University is situated in the heart of Southampton city centre, within walking distance of all the city's major amenities. Southampton benefits from excellent access to airports, train stations, ferry terminals and major motorways, so getting here should be no problem at all.
