Prospective students who attend an on-campus open day at Solent University and live outside of the local authority of Southampton City Council, or have travelled from outside of the UK, are able to apply to receive up to £50 in Amazon vouchers towards the cost of their travel to the event.

Red Funnel
Red Funnel is offering a 15% discount on ferry travel for students travelling to a Solent University open day from the Isle of Wight.

Please note that Red Jet tickets can be used on the Quay Connect bus, which allows you to travel for free on the bus to and from the ferry terminal. The closest stop to the university is Asda, which is a 10 minute walk away. See the proposed walking routes here.

Southampton Park & Ride
Currently available for Saturday 27 June and Saturday 15 August open days.
Avoid city centre traffic and enjoy easy travel with a dedicated Park & Ride service. Park your car in the car park at the Adanac Health and Innovation Campus multi-storey car park and hop on a bus to the city centre. It's quick, convenient, and great value at £3 for a vehicle of up to five people! Simply pay on the bus!
The service with 'P&R Solent University Open Day' on the front of the bus will operate at a 40-minute frequency from Adanac Park to East Park Terrace from 8.20am, with the last bus back to Adanac Park at 4pm. The journey will take around 20 minutes.

- The Open Days GWR travel offer is only available for travel on GWR services. If travelling from or within a region of the country that is not part of the GWR network you may need to purchase separate tickets to the chosen destination.
- The destination must be Southampton Central.
- Origin of journey must be within the GWR network, but please note that Advance Purchase tickets are not available for short distance journeys.
- The scheme is only available for use with Advance Purchase tickets. These set times and dates of travel and are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
- The Open Days GWR travel offer is available for the dates provided by Southampton Solent University and the week that the event takes place, running Saturday to the next Sunday.
- Discount can be used in conjunction with 16-25 Railcard. Tick the box on the page next to it and select from the drop down menu.
