This is a joint event with the BCS Hampshire Branch, BCS AGD SG and Solent University.
In this presentation Ian Hughes will look at what the rise of quirky dance animation in games, what is driving their adoption and the impact they appear to be having on players. Also there will be a brief history of quirky content as this is not the first time we have been here.
There is also a serious business model behind this and other skins and perks available in games such as Fortnite, plus a rich second hand market emerging, and who knows it may end up being blockchain powered.
Ian Hughes/epredator, BCS Animation and Games SG Chair, is an Internet of Things industry analyst at 451 Research, with nearly 30 years of experience in emerging technology as a developer, architect and consultant.
