Solent University – Covid-19 Business Recovery Commitment/Small Business Leadership Programme
If the impact of the pandemic has reduced your ability to survive and lead your business to onward growth, the Small Business Leadership Programme might be the support you need right now.
Are you a business owner or senior decision maker for a business employing between 5 - 249 staff? If your business has been operational for more than one year and you feel the impact of the pandemic has reduced your ability to survive and lead your business to onward growth, then the Small Business Leadership Programme might be the support you need right now.
Through a facilitated eight week programme, a virtual learning environment will provide all your resource needs to learn how best to lead your business across how to innovate and consider new markets, to be the best leader for your business and engage your employees, to challenge your vision, purpose and brand and build the best journey your customers deserve. The best part of the programme is being part of a wider community of like-minded business owners. Weekly sessions (currently via Zoom) allow everyone to come together to share challenges and discuss learning. This helps with the key output of the programme which is to build an action plan to implement. This further considers other areas of the programme such as operational efficiencies and the all-important managing the finances for the sustainability of your business.
As this is a leadership programme for your business, it provides the time and focus for you to work on your business for this 8 week period. Your ability to interact with each element of the programme seeks you to challenge your own leadership approach to these business elements. This to date has been the most powerful part of the programme. All too often all business owners spend too much time working in their business and not on it!
