Wessex Green Hub celebration

The theme of Earth Day 2021 is 'Restore Earth' and as a partner of the Wessex Green Hub we'll be holding a celebration event. The event will enable you to reflect on what you are and what we can and must do to flourish as communities, individuals, and as businesses. We'll explore what World Earth Day should look like, feel like and be like, before looking at how we can sustain throughout the year.

About Wessex Green Hub
Wessex Green Hub is an initiative to actively and collaboratively develop more sustainable approaches to a wide range of business activities in the Wessex, Winchester and Solent region. In partnership between Solent University, Winchester City Council, University of Winchester, Transition Network and community partners, we bring together local businesses with community groups and local government to find practical and deliverable opportunities to collaborate and improve environmental outcomes. We incorporate a community of practice, inquiry and place approach to provide ‘Living Lab’ opportunities to test and pilot different sustainable activities, practices, to learn from each other, and to measure impact in Wessex and beyond.
