Students were tasked with designing a retail, leisure or public space following the theme of 'metamorphosis'. This inspired Gintare to create an environmentally sustainable leisure complex, hotel lobby and bar.

Projects were evaluated by industry experts and judged based on their technical content and creativity.

The award was given by Vanessa Brady OBE, a multi-award winning interior designer, business consultant and founder of the Society of British and International Design. For her efforts, Gintare has received 12 months of access to an SBID mentor of her choice and a certificate that demonstrates her achievements.
