As you know, the University has been working hard on a range of ambitious plans to bring you safely back to campus for your new academic year.

While, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the next step of your University journey will not be the same as you've experienced so far, please know that everyone here is working hard to make sure that life as a Solent student  continues to be the amazing experience you deserve.

Hopefully you've already taken a look at our 'Solent in September' page where we've shared a first-look at what campus and your studies will look like for the new term.

Below, you can also find some frequently asked questions that provide more details specifically for our current students. We'll be updating them regularly, so keep checking back - and we look forward to seeing you soon!

I am a final year student, will I be receiving predicted grades?

Predicted grades are not usually made available to students as all results and awards are subject to the application of assessment regulations and final exam board verification.

Final results will be made available on 18 and 19 August after being confirmed by exam boards, and in the meantime, grades from previous years are available on the Portal, and grades from this year can be viewed in SOL.

If you wish to discuss how degree awards are being calculated in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ‘No Detriment’ policy changes, please email the Student Achievement team for advice at student.achievement@solent.ac.uk
