Solent Productions
Solent Productions is the media production centre based at Solent University since 2007, specialising in real-world learning opportunities for students and graduates under expert supervision.
Solent Live Events Society
The Solent Live Events Society is an organisation set up to offer live event services to clients, including but not limited to audio/visual equipment hire and audio/visual engineering expertise from our members. The society is run by students for students’ benefit, offering real working life experience within the live music events industry.

We always welcome careers support from our alumni.
Hosting a work placement student has many benefits, bringing additional resources to your team and helping you to identify candidates for future full-time roles. The employability and enterprise service can advertise placements, part-time vacancies and graduate positions to students, free of charge.
Employers are also encouraged to advertise opportunities to Solent students and graduates via the University’s recruitment site, Solent Futures Online. We can also help you promote your organisation on campus, target students studying specific courses and send you invitations to our career events.

Research and consultancy for business at the University is managed by four distinct research and innovation hubs, covering areas including business and society, the creative industries, maritime, technology and the environment, and sports, health and wellbeing. Each research hub strives to provide industry leading research with measurable real world impact.
