Alumni ID card
Use your alumni ID card to access exclusive gym memberships and a variety of benefits for being a member of the Solent University alumni network.
Cards are processed on a quarterly basis; dates of when you can expect your request to be fully processed are on the application form.
Postgraduate study
If you're looking to further your studies, you are eligible for a 20% reduction of tuition fees on a postgraduate degree.

Gym access
Continued exclusive access for £10.99 per month to our gym and the Solent Sports Complex at East Park Terrace. If you do not have an alumni card, contact us to order one.
Exclusive events
We run a range of events open to our alumni throughout the year from alumni reunions to guest lectures.
Library access
Alumni are entitled to free subscriber membership of the library. Membership will allow you to borrow up to four books at a time (requested in advance) with two renewals, where possible, by phone or email.
LinkedIn group
Access an exclusive LinkedIn group with over 5,000 members. The group will provide information about up-coming events, opportunities to work with the University, and exclusive competitions.
Business support
Members of our alumni who graduated within the past year are eligible to apply for a business start-up grant of up to £3,500. If you have a genuine and credible business idea, we can help you take those first steps.
Bi-monthly newsletter
Receive a bi-monthly newsletter which will provide information about up-coming events, exclusive events, and shines a light on the successes of our alumni.
Solent Creatives
Exclusive access to our Solent Creatives service which connects creative student talent at Solent to businesses. If you have a creative business need, Solent Creatives is the answer.
CPD opportunities
Our apprenticeships team provide a variety of higher and degree apprenticeships which are the ideal way for you to advance your career. As a Solent alum, the team would be happy to meet you and discuss the opportunities available.
