About the course

This qualification is designed to prepare learners for deployment as independent coaches of multi-skill development in sport and physical activity, and will introduce learners to the principles of coaching fundamental movement skills and sport specific skills via the planning, delivery and review of a series of linked and progressive coaching sessions.

The certificate is a combination of the principles of coaching and level 2 award in MS.

This is a qualification for individuals without any coaching experience

What you'll study

Course exam/certificate:

In order to gain this qualification, participants must:

  • You must successfully complete all modules
  • Learners are required to deliver aspects of a session on-course in a simulated environment in order to demonstrate competence.
  • The observed delivery must last a minimum of 20 minutes
  • Attend all course hours.
