Solent University is running a series of ‘Get ready to…’ sessions which will give students a range of information and support throughout their journey to higher education – from the initial stages of choosing a course and making an application, through to applying for student finance and getting prepared to go to university.

These webinars will be hosted by a range of people within Solent University including members of the Schools and Colleges Liaison team, academic staff and current undergraduate students.

Following on from our ‘Get ready to become a solicitor’ session at 4pm this day, we have a session designed to inspire anyone with an interest in studying law at university through the presentation of the odd, the curious and the fun.

Dr Simon Fox, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Legal Education and Head of Solent Law School, takes us on a journey through some curious cases, shedding light on how they have developed our legal understanding.  There will be chance to ask questions and get those all-important answers.

Solent University’s LLB (Hons) Law ranked number 2 in the UK for student satisfaction, with 97% overall satisfaction, and ranked number 1 for academic support in the National Student Survey 2020.

More sessions about going to university can be booked here.
