Digital music studio
The studio contains state-of-the-art digital software and hardware for the creation of electronic dance music, allowing students to be creative and gain practical knowledge of the numerous pieces of hardware devices.
About the the digital music studio
The digital music studio is a high-end facility, which has been recently refurbished and updated. Our dedicated digital music lab features leading industry music production and recording software such as Logic Pro, Ableton Live Suite, Pro Tools and Native Instruments Komplete. The lab has just been renovated and features a warm ambiance along with controlled LED lighting and new furniture.
Our DJ booth is equipped with Pioneer CDJ3000 multi-players and the latest Technics 1210 turntables both feeding into a Pioneer DJM-A9 mixer with potential to record your mixes into a digital audio workstation of your choice. We have a pair of Adam A77H Midfield Monitors for precise monitoring both for DJ’ing and vocal recording.
In addition to the music studios and workstations, digital music students also have access to a DJ booth for recording instruments and vocals in an acoustically controlled environment.
