Final year BA (Hons) Beauty Promotion student Eleanor Coleman, has recently completed her final major project, an app called REVIVE, focusing on clean beauty and wellness. We caught up with Eleanor to find out more about the project, before she showcases it at the degree show on Friday 10 June 2022.
I wanted to pull together everything I have learnt during my degree which includes beauty journalism, future trends, pr and marketing. I have created a digital magazine in the format of an app called REVIVE which focuses primarily on clean beauty and wellness. Alongside this, I created a marketing campaign and launch event for REVIVE.
After my internship with VOIR fashion magazine in second year, I felt very inspired to include an element of beauty journalism within my project. Not only this but I recognised a gap in the market for a successful digital magazine as the magazine industry is becoming digitalised. Taking care of your wellbeing and encouraging positivity is so important to me and I was adamant I wanted to bring this into the beauty magazine.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my degree and learning so much about the beauty industry. Not to mention all the new people I have met and the lifelong friends I have made along the way.
