CGFX Festival

Bringing together industry professionals, successful alumni and creative experts, CGFX gives students the opportunity to discover what it is really like to work in the creative industries. Through talks, insights and real-world experiences, they’ll gain an understanding of the skills, workflows and creative thinking that bring today’s games, films and digital experiences to life.

Our practice-led approach to teaching puts industry experience at the heart of what we do, and CGFX gives students the chance to see this in action. They’ll hear directly from people working in the industry, discover different career pathways and gain practical advice to help them take their next steps towards a creative career.

Students will also have the opportunity to explore our specialist facilities, including our animation suites and Virtual Production stage, giving them a behind-the-scenes look at the environments in which the next generation of creative talent is developed.

Whether your students are already passionate about games, animation, CGI or VFX, or are still exploring where their creative interests could take them, CGFX is an opportunity to be inspired, learn from industry and experience university-level creative education first-hand.
