Music in the City

Music in the City is an inclusive celebration of music amidst the vibrant cultural heritage of Southampton. Taking place across the weekend of 28 and 29 September 2024, this free celebration of music (of all styles), will be showcased within some of the best and unusual settings Southampton has to offer: from funk to punk, jazz to indie, classical to afrobeat, pop to experimental, country to heavy metal.

With performances from up and coming, amateur, professional local and guesting artists to choirs, youth bands, DJs, buskers and of course not forgetting ukulele jams. There is certainly something for everyone to enjoy.
