Join our Sociology and Criminology teams for an engaging and thought-provoking day on campus, where students will dive into the complex realities of modern society.

Through the exploration of real-life case studies, participants will investigate the social, economic, and cultural factors that contribute to inequality, crime, and social justice issues in the contemporary world.

Across a series of interactive workshops, discussions, and guided debates, students will be encouraged to question assumptions, explore diverse perspectives, and engage critically with pressing societal challenges. These sessions are designed to strengthen analytical and communication skills, promote evidence-based reasoning, and inspire thoughtful reflection on how social structures shape individual and collective experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to experience university-level learning first-hand, connect with our expert academic staff, and gain insight into how sociological and criminological research can inform real-world change.

Whether students are curious about the causes of inequality, the workings of the criminal justice system, or the role of policy in shaping society, this event offers an inspiring space to think deeply, debate confidently, and understand the world more critically.
