Welcome to the Solent Insight Series, a virtual webinar programme designed to support prospective students as they prepare for university. Parents, carers, teachers and advisers are also very welcome to join.

This series is here to guide you through every stage of the journey to university, from choosing the right course and applying through UCAS, to writing a strong personal statement and preparing for life as a student.

Each session is packed with practical advice and useful tips to help you feel confident about the transition to higher education. Whether you’re just starting to think about your options or already preparing your application, the Solent Insight Series has something for you.

What does this Discover Solent webinar cover?

Join us to get a real insight into what life as a Solent student is like. From societies and student support to campus facilities, accommodation, and opportunities to get involved, this session will give you the inside track on what to expect. The Solent Insight Series features seven webinars between September 2025 and August 2026, all running on Microsoft Teams from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on select Mondays.
