Portfolio preparation session: Fine art
Tue 2 December
Virtual
In this hands-on session, discover how engineering tools can reveal the hidden workings of modern media and help us create richer viewing and listening experiences.
We are lucky today to be able to enjoy a lot of different types of media, from music streamed from the internet, to huge, megabudget live shows like the Olympics. The job of a media technologist is to break these media types and technologies apart, and understand how they work so that we can improve and invent new things!
In this deep-dive session, we will use some engineering tools to break apart existing media approaches, and show how some of our measurements relate to things we see and hear.
Join us as we discover the hidden powers of media, and how we can enhance the viewing and listening experience for your audience!
