Welcome to the Solent Insight Series, a virtual webinar programme designed to support prospective students as they prepare for university. Parents, carers, teachers and advisers are also very welcome to join.

This series is here to guide you through every stage of the journey to university, from choosing the right course and applying through UCAS, to writing a strong personal statement and preparing for life as a student.

What does this Results Day and Clearing webinar cover?

Results day can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to face it alone. This session will guide you through what happens on the day, explain your options if things don’t go as planned, and show you how Clearing works at Solent. We’ll share practical advice to help you stay calm, make confident choices, and find the right path forward - whatever your results.

The Solent Insight Series features seven webinars between September 2025 and August 2026 all running on Microsoft Teams from 5.30pm to 6.30pm on select Mondays.
