A message from the Vice-Chancellor: Her Majesty The Queen

The Solent community and I are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty The Queen Elizabeth II this evening, Thursday 8 September 2022.

Solent, along with the rest of the country and commonwealth, is grateful to Her Majesty for her leadership and loyalty over the past 70 years as England’s matriarch.

We extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this difficult time.
