Solent Ravens Cheerleading
The Solent Ravens are the official cheerleading and dance team of Solent University. The Ravens are going into their tenth season and are one of the largest clubs within the University. The team competes throughout the season and also supports the American football and basketball teams. Over the years, members have won several awards at the annual Sports Awards, including Sports Woman of the Year, Contribution of the Year and the Charity Award. They have been presented the highest number of Teams Colours by the University.
The team is made up of five different squads:
- Competition Level 2
- Various level stunt teams
- Gameday (supporting American football and basketball)
- Lyrical and contemporary dance
- Pom dance

- Pom Dance: ICC Eastern Regionals first place 2017
