Our activities are designed to support colleagues in continuously improving their teaching practice. SLTI offers a range of programmes and services to help lecturers improve, such as resources for new lecturers, HEA fellowship, CPD, peer practice exchange, and Solent unit evaluation.
Solent's RIT opens the door to a world of research for our learners. SLTI offers seed funding for all university staff, and publishes Dialogue, an annual learning and teaching journal. We also collaborate with other universities to run TESTA and support the British Conference of Undergraduate Research.
This team finds innovative approaches to help find the most effective way to do things. Whether it's exploring how to get more out of Solent Online Learning, advising students, or working on blended learning, the learning technologies team helps our lecturers teach and our students learn.
