Hi, I'm Max and these are my top tips for Clearing. Don't panic. Remember you're not alone. Thousands of students go through the Clearing process each year. Start researching universities online that you're interested in and find out if there's spaces available.

Do your research. Look at the UCAS website and the website of the universities that you are interested in. Talk to your friends that may already be at the universities and your teachers for more options.

Be flexible. Some courses will be really popular through Clearing so you may have to look at other alternatives.

Be prepared. Have all of your qualifications to hand including your GCSE's when ringing Clearing hotlines, but also specify why you want to go to that university.

Ask questions. Ask questions when you ring universities about things like accommodation and what it's like to be a student studying there.
