I picked Solent because of the facilities. The facilities are absolutely amazing, especially with the new Sport Complex. The teaching staff are really welcoming and it was just a really nice warm environment.

Upon starting my undergraduate degree, I visited many universities. I was kind of overwhelmed with the facilities that Solent had. A lot of the equipment is very sort of state-of-the-art, very modern, which is used in everyday practice in professional settings.

All the modules that are delivered on the course present many opportunities to enhance or develop pre-existing knowledge of anatomy or injuries that are picked up in everyday life. I think the talk content is excellent, I think that the way it's delivered I think by the lecturers. They draw on their own experience that they've had throughout - throughout their studies and throughout their careers so far so I think it's a great opportunity for students to come in and learn from them.

We learn so much from sport massage to rehabilitation to different taping techniques. We get to run with volunteering work so working for marathons and runs and cycling events. So, we definitely learn a big array of kind of analytical skills and rehabilitation and sport coaching, and research methods so really just making us an all-rounded practitioner ready to go into different scenarios if that's clinic or sport teams.

Take as many opportunities as you can. I remember throughout all three years of my undergrad, I managed to gain lots of real-world experience, lots of placement opportunities that worked really well alongside my undergraduate studies, which led to future job roles, potential full-time placements later down the line. So, take every opportunity that you get, apply yourself it's a tough, it's a tough course but it's a great opportunity and it leads to a lot of different avenues to walk down into within the industry.
