Why this is Eloise Carter’s Moment.
Eloise Carter is an emerging artist from Portsmouth’s indie folk/ rock scene on the South Coast. After launching her solo project in early 2023, she quickly built momentum by working with prominent regional promoters including Fitz Promotions, Close and Pysch, and playing sold-out shows alongside acts such as Prima Queen and The Native.

Her growing online presence and strong live reputation soon saw her steop onto stages at iconic venues including the Boileroom in Guildford, Camden Assembly and most recently the Joiners in Southampton where she played her debut headline show last September. The show, supported by Portsmouth based folk singer Anna Muir, showcased Carter’s ability to deliver a high energy, great value night with tickets priced under £10 and local acts on the bill.
Carter broke onto the scene with her debut single, Another Loud June, which gained early recognition from BBC Introducing. She followed this with three singles released in 2024, recorded and produced by Ben Hiller (Holler, Sell By). Her sound blends uplifting, guitar driven indie with introspective songwriting, pairing reflective lyrics with a powerful live presence.

Her breakout single, The Moment taken from her upcoming EP Balcony House, signals a confident evaluation in her musical identity- rooted in sincerity, emotional depth and ambition. With her audience expanding beyond the South Coast into cities like London and Guildford, Carter has announced a headline slot at Icebreaker Festival 2026.
Eloise Carter’s moment is here- and she’s only just getting started.
